Gaming is the next frontier in political debate. At least that’s how I justify the many hours I spend gaming. This section is a small collection of personal projects and gaming ideas I’ve had over the years.

TRASH TRASH MEN

In 2020, when the MeToo movement found its way to India, we created a web-game that acted as a cathartic outlet for folks on the internet to vent. Pick your odious man of choice and get his mug in the trash. At last tally, people trashed trash men over 100,000 times.

PREP TRUMP

President Trump is a man of…limited vocabulary. We created a website that let the internet use the man’s words against him. Set against the backdrop of the 2016 election season, users could Prep Trump for the debates and answer questions in his own inimitable style. Here’s a preview of how the website worked

To get this site up and running, we had to listen to hundreds of hours of footage, splice audio clips and finally patch it all together. The result? Months of Trump’s voice as my inner monologue - a terrible and exacting toll.

Minecraft Rebuild

Almost 10 years ago, in the wake of the devastating Nepal earthquakes, a few friends and I thought of a novel way to bring gaming and fundraising together. This was the early days of digital engagement with gamers and our project was a prescient work before its time. In the years to come global agencies would use Minecraft in this very way to help fundraise or raise awareness.
